DasKöniglich is not a hotel. It's an independent 330 m² luxury chalet in Mühlbach am Hochkönig, reserved exclusively for the group during the Private Art Retreat. No other guests, no strangers — just you, Nadia and a house that feels like yours.
The architecture combines Alpine tradition with clean contemporary design. Natural materials — wood, stone, loden — meet high-end fittings. Each of the five bedrooms has its own en-suite bathroom. The 160 m² of terraces turn the outside into an extension of the inside, with unobstructed mountain views.
The open living-dining area is the heart of the chalet — generous, bright, comfortable. Dinner is served here on all four evenings; on two of them a private chef cooks right in front of you. House wines, beer and non-alcoholic drinks are included.
The Finnish sauna with panoramic glazing is one of the highlights of the house. Sweat with a view — and afterwards loungers that demand you stay. Yoga sessions take place on the terrace or in the living area. More about the wellness area.
Mühlbach am Hochkönig is in the Salzburg Pongau region, nestled in the mighty Hochkönig massif. The village is small, quiet, authentic — not a tourist hotspot but a mountain village with character. Exactly right for a real break.
The mountain lifts and the region's extensive hiking and e-bike network are minutes away. The city of Salzburg with Mozart, festivals and old town is about an hour's drive — perfect for a day trip if you wish.
